Rehearsal nights

Dear Bro Knights as you are aware, the meeting on 10th June is our regular Malta meeting. We open with the officers for 2009/10 and the E Prior E.Kt. Unger who will proceed to install the new Knights of Malta

E. Prior E.Kt. Unger will then proceed to install his successor E.Kt. Jason Cameron-Potter E. Prior for 2011/12 who will then install his officers for the ensuing year.

This is a most important meeting in our calendar and there are two practices arranged Dartford on 26th May @ 7.00pm and 6th June @ 7.30pm. It would be appreciated if you can make this in particular the Banner Guard.

The Marashal is anxious to make this a particularly good meeting as the Rt. E P. Prior has indicated that he may come without warning.

I would remind you that you need Malta regalia to take part in this ceremony, although I have two sets either for sale or for you to borrow for the night.

If you cannot attend the June meeting, please give as much notice as possible.

St George does it again !
Sub-prior left speechless!

The Kent Preceptory of St George's ninth installation meeting was up to their usual standard. Being both their Christmas meeting and their birthday anniversary, their ritual was second to none as was the festive board. With party poppers and streamers going off in all directions, the merriment was such that during the reply to the Sub Prior's toast, V E Kt Peter McIntyre was left speechless (cleverly disguised by a coughing fit) by the celebrations. Photo's below show, our Sub Prior with newly installed preceptor E Kt Jason Cameron-Potter (posing as ghosts of Christmas present and Christmas future); E Kt Trevor Sharpe (posing as ghost of somewhere) and the barber shop quartet who entertained the troops during the festive board. I thank E Kt John McCully for supplying the pictures.
