Bumper Meeting at St George’s!</p></center>


<left><img src="pictures/stgeorge/629m_2.jpg" WIDTH="300"  BORDER="0" ALIGN="RIGHT"  STYLE="padding:0 0 0 30">On 11th June, there was certainly a bumper turnout of candidates at the Kent Preceptory of St George.<br />
<br />
The occasion was their Annual Malta meeting, where no less than 16 Knights were Installed in a truly excellent fashion by the Eminent Prior and Officers of the Priory.<br />
<br />
St George’s often chase up other Preceptories for candidates to swell their Malta Meeting, but this was really a first when a week before, their Registrar, Roy Pike, was actually heard to say "Please, no more!"<br />
<br />
The ceremony was followed by the Installation of Terry Tanner as the new Eminent Prior, who then appointed the Officers who will work the Malta Degree next year.<br />
<br />
There was a great, happy atmosphere, and the Knights of St George’s are to be congratulated.<br />
